Cruise Packing List: Things I Love to Pack
Cruising is our favorite way to travel, it’s like spending seven nights in a luxury all inclusive hotel but the scenery changes every day. Cruise packing doesn’t have to be difficult. As an avid cruiser there are certain things that while not “Essential” make life in a cruise cabin or on the ship just that much easier. Below are a list of items I pack on every cruise we take:

Luggage Tag Holder

These luggage tags holders are our go to for all of our cruise luggage. Protect you tags so your luggage finds its way to you.
You took all that time to pack and now you have to find a stapler and hope that staple holds until you see your luggage again. These luggage tag holders protect your tags from the elements and securely attach to your luggage. Specifically designed to fit Royal Caribbean luggage tags these holders will ensure you don’t lose your luggage.
Magnetic Wall Hooks

Cabin walls are prebuilt and made of metal. Take advantage and get these magnetic wall hooks to save space and increase storage.
Cruise cabins are not known for being ultra spacious, as such we need to get creative with storage. These magnetic wall hooks do not take a lot of space and greatly improve your organization within your cabin. A staple in almost every cabin on a ship these hooks are great for hanging hats, towels, and even light jackets. Pack these for your cruise and you won’t be disappointed.
Packing Cubes

Cruise Packing cubes make unpacking a breeze, move your cube from suitcase to drawer and save time for enjoying your cruise.
Luggage space is at a premium, especially when flying in for a cruise. These packing cubes will revolutionize your packing game. They allow for easy compartment-based packing, no more rummaging around to find what you need. They also allow for quick unpacking so you get back to buffet or the bar quickly.
USB Charging Station

Cruise cabins are notorious for having very few outlets, especially on older ships. This 6 port USB charging station allows everyone to charge and only takes up one outlet.
While you may be able to find usb ports and multiple outlets on the new mega ships, that just isn’t the case on the older ships in most fleets. You may only have access to one or two outlets in your cabin and with ships banning multi outlet extenders charging space is limited. This 6 port USB charging station will allow everyone in the cabin to charge their devices without taking up multiple outlets.
Reef Safe Sunscreen

Sunscreen is essential for those sunny cruises and beach days, always bring it from home if you can as onboard prices and cause quite the sticker shock.
This truly reef safe, Hawaii 104 act compliant SPF30 sunscreen from Sun Bum is a go to for our cruises. While this is also available in a spray form, we prefer the lotion style sunscreen for those crowded days on the pool deck.
Sunscreen Storage Bag

All of that sunscreen needs somewhere to go, get one of these bags to keep your sunscreen organized and away from your clothes.
This a perfect sunscreen storage bag for organizing your sunscreen and being ready to go. Perfect for those port day excursions or lounging on the pool deck, always have your sunscreen just where you need it.
Apple AirTag

An Apple AirTag can fit anywhere in your luggage providing real-time tracking for following your luggage no matter the destination.
Apple AirTags are tiny devices which allow you to track your belongings. We use these whenever we travel to keep an eye on our checked baggage. From porter drop-off to hallway delivery putting one of these in you bag lets you know where it is at all times.
Travel Liquid Bottles

Anyone who has traveled Royal Caribbean, outside of suites, knows the all-in-one body wash shampoo leaves a bit to be desired, so bring your own.
These Mrsdry Travel Bottles come with a convenient carrying case to keep your travel liquids neat and organized. Most cruise ships opt for an all-in-one shower solution leaving your skin dry and hair unhappy. Use these TSA approved travel containers to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and whatever else you need without taking up the unnecessary space of full-size bottles.
Travel Makeup Bag

Make sure you have all of your makeup essentials with this easy to pack makeup storage bag.
Look your best on those formal nights with the EACHY Travel Makup Bag. Featuring waterproof PU Leather and flat open design this makeup bag will be your cruising and travel go to bag. Multiple areas for all of you makeup and skin care organizational needs make this bag a must have.
Wrinkle Release Spray

With no free laundry facilities, and bans on steamers and irons this wrinkle releaser is a cruise ship must have.
The last thing anyone wants on a floating city at sea is a fire which is why major cruise lines ban things like irons and steamers. Using travel sized bounce wrinkle releaser on your next cruise will keep your clothes looking and smelling fresh for you next cruise ship meal.
Hydration Recovery Packets

For those mornings where the drink package hit a little too hard the night before, boost your day with these recovery packets.
Let’s face it we have all been there, whether it was a late night in the casino or partying at the disco some mornings are just rough. Make those rough mornings a little better with these Water Boy Weekend Recovery packets. Packed with electrolytes your body is craving and 0g of sugar these packets are sure to get you moving for that excursion or fight for a pool chair.
